Follow the Cateran Trail crossing over the Brackny Bridge and then a stiff climb up to Whitehills Wood.
Brackny Bridge is quite remarkable – it is the oldest bridge of its type in Scotland and was built in Dundee as a prototype for another larger bridge.The bell cairn near the top of the hill is very old dating back to the Bronze Age.
