The only museum outside Perth City in Perth and Kinross.

Open seasonally from May to September, the museum is now the information hub for the Cateran Ecomuseum. Prior to 2022, the displays focused on the area’s rich farming heritage.

Upstairs you can find out more about the Ecomuseum, its sites and itineraries and downstairs the exhibition changes annually to reflect different themes the Ecomuseum is focusing on.

One of the historic artefacts that you can see in the upstairs exhibition space is the Blairgowrie Drunk’s Cart, which was used in the nineteenth century to carry drunks back to their home.
