Event Details
Come and join the Cateran Ecomuseum team for a ‘hands on’ 2.5 hour session all about the past and future of the Hearth, the place in our home which traditionally housed the source of energy – the fire – that kept us warm and cooked our food.
You’ll be able to have a go at learning how to build and light a fire yourself from scratch, hear what the Hearth meant to our ancestors beyond giving us light and warmth and explore what kinds of energy we’ll be using to create the Hearth in our homes in the future.
And along the way we’ll gather round our fire together and share some stories!
BOOKING ESSENTIAL via this eventbrite link
There will be a maximum if 8 participants and the event will be COVID-compliant.
