Join us for this free event which combines great off-road cycling with a fabulous quiet road, offering rewarding views and featuring parts of the Cateran Trail.
Cycling is a fantastic way to explore an area and, thanks to our experienced cycle leaders, you will discover more about the wildlife and landscapes in this beautiful place.
The straightforward ride will take between two to three hours depending on experience and is just under 20km long on a mixture of tracks, paths and quiet tarmac roads.
Places are limited to a maximum number of eight participants and booking in advance is essential – you can find further information and secure your place here.
This session is part of The Cateran Ecomuseum’s innovative Museum of Rapid Transition programme which aims to reconnect people to heritage and traditions that are hidden and/or at risk, showing their practical relevance for more regenerative ways of living, bringing people together and enhancing a sense of place, stewardship and community resilience.
The walk is being delivered by the Cateran Ecomuseum with the support of the National Lottery Heritage Fund, thanks to National Lottery players, as well as the Paths for All Smarter Choices Smarter People programme and the Cairngorms National Park Authority.
