Event Details

You’ll be able to have a go at learning how to correctly fold and wear the Plaid and hear about its origins and how it became such an important part of people’s cultural identity.

We’ll also explore what is was made of, how the cloth was spun, what dyes were used and how they were repaired.

And along the way you’ll get to hear the spine-tingling story of The Cailleach and the Plaid!
