Join Rosie for a relaxed cycle around some of the stunning landscape on roads and tracks near Lintrathen. Visit an impressive waterfall, have a picnic lunch by a loch and hopefully see lots of wildlife. Suitable for those who can ride a bike with a basic level of fitness. There are a few hills to navigate – but there is no rush, we can take our time for breathers. The route will involve riding on quiet roads and tracks so bright clothes and a helmet are recommended. It will take about 4 hours including a picnic and regular stops to enjoy the views and watch the wildlife. Treat yourself  with a well-earned coffee and cake at the Wee Bear Café.

Meeting point: Wee Bear Café, Lintrathen DD8 5JH
Circular Route 15 miles (25km) approximately.
Timing 11.00am – 15.00pm
Group size:  8 participants *
Fitness: Anyone who can ride a bike and enjoy being on the go for 4 hours.
Kit: Mountain/off road bike in good working order and helmet. Bikes can be hired in advance and delivered to the Wee Bear Café.
Bike hire (if required) £15 per person
Bring: Picnic, water, waterproofs, a warm top for stops, gloves, sunglasses
Price: £35 per adult £20 per child (under 16) 2nd child, free. No unaccompanied children.

*Rosie is a qualified COVID-19 officer for Sport Scotland and under current outdoor sports regulations (level 2) is allowed to guide this number of participants

Rosie moved to Perthshire, Scotland in 2004 and soon fell in love with the wilderness, exploring by horse, walking or running. She discovered the joys of cycling off-road in 2015 and has been bikepacking around the UK, solo and with friends since 2016.She is not destination focused and would rather take her time to enjoy the journey and appreciate the small, beautiful details as well as the vast breath-taking landscapes. Rosie runs her own mountain bike guiding business and is a qualified Cycle Leader level 1 & 2, Mountain Bike Leader Level 2, Lowland Leader, Outdoor First Aider, Covid Officer and is PVG checked.
