Event Details
Join us for a packed programme of FREE family-friendly cultural heritage activities in our pop-up Iron Age Village.
There will be demonstrations of traditional skills, foraging walks, story-telling sessions, re-enactments and ancient pigment painting, and a market for artisan crafters and makers, all aimed at revealing how the story of our past can help guide the story of our future.
Bring the past to life this summer and immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of our history and local heritage while embracing skills and craftsmanship essential for a climate-challenged future.
This event is part of the Ecomuseum’s wider Museum of Rapid Transition programme, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, the Drumderg Windfarm Community Benefit Fund and the Cairngorms National Park Authority, which aims to show how our heritage can inspire people to take action to help tackle the climate and biodiversity crises.
