Join us for this free event, a mostly flat gravel cycle ride that is also suitable for touring bikes.
Cycling is a fantastic way to explore an area and, thanks to our experienced cycle leaders, you will discover the wildlife and landscapes on both banks of the River Ericht, connected by Kitty Swanson’s Bridge, on a ride through the heart of Scotland’s berry growing country.
The ride will take about 2.5 hours depending on experience and is around 15km long on a mixture of quiet roads, cycle paths and tracks.
Places are limited to a maximum number of eight participants and booking in advance is essential – you can find further information and secure your place here.
Children attending the ride must be over the age of 10, competent cyclists and accompanied by an adult.

This session is part of The Cateran Ecomuseum’s innovative Museum of Rapid Transition programme which aims to reconnect people to heritage and traditions that are hidden and/or at risk, showing their practical relevance for more regenerative ways of living, bringing people together and enhancing a sense of place, stewardship and community resilience.
The walk is being delivered by the Cateran Ecomuseum with the support of the National Lottery Heritage Fund, thanks to National Lottery players, as well as the Paths for All Smarter Choices Smarter People programme and the Cairngorms National Park Authority.
